Loom gives coding agents durable project memory for decisions, standing instructions, discoveries, and the reasoning behind the code.
The problem
- A coding agent can become useful in one session and forget the hard-won context in the next.
- Teams lose the reasoning behind decisions when every agent starts from a blank thread.
- Repeated reminders such as testing rules, design constraints, and release habits should become durable context.
What changes
- Important context surfaces right before it matters — such as before a consequential command or design choice — instead of waiting to be asked.
- Every agent can begin with the same shared project knowledge instead of rediscovering it.
- Decisions and standing instructions remain available to future sessions and other agents.
How to try it
- Install Loom, connect a store, and follow the install guide to enable Loom in your coding agent.
- Start in a repository, capture decisions and instructions as you work, then return later with the context still available.
- For teams, share a curated store so every agent can work from the same project knowledge.
